چکیده
CCAAT enhancer binding protein alpha (CEBPA, also known as C/EBPα) is a transcription factor that plays an essential role in regulating terminal differentiation and cell proliferation of many tissues. The objective this study to explore the potential function CEBPA ovarian cancer. expression cancer samples adjacent normal tissues was evaluated by qRT-PCR. putative cells immunohistochemistry, western blot, viability assay, BrdU incorporation soft agar colony formation transwell migration invasion tumor xenograft formation, lung metastasis model. We found downregulated predicted poor prognosis. CRISPR/Cas9-mediated knockout promoted proliferation, anchorage-independent growth, migration, invasion, EMT cells, while enforced CEPBA suppressed EMT, cells. Furthermore, we activated Wnt/β-catenin signaling overexpression activation. Our data indicated acted suppressor cancer, might be prognostic marker for treatment.

GOLPH3 induces epithelial–mesenchymal transition via Wnt/β‐catenin signaling pathway in epithelial ovarian cancer
Golgi phosphoprotein 3 (GOLPH3), a newly recognized oncogene, is associated with tumor growth, metastasis, and poor prognosis in several types of cancer. However, its biological role and underlying mechanism in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) remain poorly understood. Here, we found that GOLPH3 was overexpressed in EOC tissues and cell lines. This overexpression promoted the migration and invas...
متن کاملDoxycycline reverses epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and suppresses the proliferation and metastasis of lung cancer cells
The gelatinase inhibitor doxycycline is the prototypical antitumor antibiotic. We investigated the effects of doxycycline on the migration, invasion, and metastasis of human lung cancer cell lines and in a mouse model. We also measured the effect of doxycycline on the transcription of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers, and used immunohistochemistry to determine whether EMT reversa...
متن کاملSilencing PPA1 inhibits human epithelial ovarian cancer metastasis by suppressing the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway
Inorganic pyrophosphatase (PPA1) activity is a key determinant of cellular inorganic pyrophosphate levels, and its expression is correlated with growth of several solid tumors. To investigate this relationship, we first examined PPA1 expression in human epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) samples, and found that PPA1 was overexpressed in tumors from EOC patients. Higher PPA1 levels correlated with ...
متن کاملYPEL3 suppresses epithelial–mesenchymal transition and metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells through the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway
BACKGROUND Metastasis remains the major cause of death in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Yippee-like 3 (YPEL3) plays an important role in tumorigenesis. However, its function and mechanism in NPC has not been systematically explored. METHODS We evaluated YPEL3 expression in NPC cell lines and tissues using real-time PCR and western blotting. Then, we established NPC cell lines that stably ov...
متن کاملSalinomycin repressed the epithelial–mesenchymal transition of epithelial ovarian cancer cells via downregulating Wnt/β-catenin pathway
Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is the leading cause of death among all gynecological malignancies. Most patients are diagnosed in the advanced stage and have distant metastasis ultimately. Salinomycin has been demonstrated to reduce invasive capacity of multiple tumor cells. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of salinomycin on EOC cells. The cell counting kit 8 (CCK-8) ...
